【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsincludeproceduresforsampling,examination,physicaltesting,andanalysesofasphaltrollroofing,capsheets,andshinglesusedinroofingandwaterproofing.Othercomponentsofthesematerialsareallowedtoinclude,butarenotlimitedto,felts,mats,films,foils,mineralstabilizers,papers,andmineralsurfacing.ThesetestmethodsincludeteststhatarenotrequiredbyeveryproductstandardthatreferencesTestMethodsD228.Theindividualproductstandardsaretheauthorityforwhichtestsarerequiredforcompliance.Itisnotprohibitedtoruntestsinadditiontothoserequiredintheproductstandards,butthesetestmethodsmakenoclaimtotheirsuitabilityorsignificance.Fiverandomsamplesarerequiredfromlotsequaltoorlessthan1000packages.Thenumberofsamplesrequiredforlotsgreaterthan1000packagesisdependentonthevariationintheunitmasswithinthelotandisdeterminedbythetwo-stepsamplingplanin7.4.Theresultsofavisualexamination,physicaltesting,andcompositionalanalysisarerequiredforeachsample.Theanalyticaldataarefurtherusedtocomputetheprobableminimumandtheprobablerangefortheaveragemassofeachofthecomponents.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresforsampling,examination,physicaltesting,andanalysesofasphalt-containingmaterialsusedinroofingandwaterproofing.Thesematerialsincludebutarenotlimitedtorollroofing,capsheets,andshingles.Anyofthesematerialsareallowedtobepartiallyorfullycoated,surfaced,orlaminated,oracombinationthereof.1.2Thetestmethodsandproceduresinthisstandardappearinthefollowingorder:
