MIL-PRF-23827C (W/ AMENDMENT 2), MILITARY SPECIFICATION, PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION, GREASE, AIRCRAFT AND INSTRUMENT, GEAR AND ACTUATOR SCREW (29 SEP 2006) [SUPERSEDING MIL-G-23827C W/ AMENDMENT 1)., This specification covers the requirements for one grade of grease for use at extremely low temperatures on aircraft and instruments. This grease is effective in the temperature range from -73° to 121°C. The type I grease is identified by NATO code Number G-354 (see 6.8).

【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationdescribestherequiredpropertiesandtestmethodsforacoldliquid-appliedelastomericmembraneforwaterproofingbuildingdecksnotsubjecttohydrostaticpressure.Thespecificationappliesonlytoamembranesystemthathasanintegralwearingsurface.Thisspecificationdoesnotincludespecificrequirementsforskidresistanceorfireretardance,althoughbothmaybeimportantinspecificuses.1.2Thetypeofmembranesystemdescribedinthisspecificationisusedforpedestrianandvehiculartrafficandinhigh-abrasionapplications.Themembranemaybesingle-ormulti-component,andmayconsistofoneormorecoats(forexamplebasecoat,topcoat,etc.).Thecoat(s)maybebuilttothedesiredthicknessinoneormoreapplications.Onecoat(basecoat)providestheprimarywaterproofingfunctionandnormallycomprisesthemajoramountoforganicmaterialinthemembrane.Thefunctionofthetopcoat(s)istoresistwearandweather.Aggregatemaybeusedasacomponentofthemembranesystem,asallorpartofacourse,toincreasewearandskidresistance.1.3Thecommitteewithjurisdictionoverthisstandardisnotawareofanycomparablestandardspublishedbyotherorganizations.1.4Testmethodsinthisspecificationrequireaminimum0.5-mm[0.020-in.]basecoatdryfilmthickness.Actualthicknessrequiredforaparticularapplicationandtheuseofaggregateintopcoatsshallbeestablishedbythemembranemanufacturer.1.5ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.6Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section5,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
