【摘要】:ThisStandardisaconsolidationoftwoASMEstandards,ASMEB29.16M-1995(Welded-Steel-TypeMillChains,Attachments,andSprocketTeeth)andASMEB29.18M-1993(Welded-Steel-TypeDragChains,Attachments,andSprocketTeeth).Thesetwostandardswerecombinedintoonebecauseofthesimilarityofconstructionandtheusualapplicationsforthetwotypesofchains.Thewelded-steel-typemillchains(B29.16M)weredevelopedtoprovideaseriesofsteelchainssimilartocastchainsofthedetachable,mill,andcombinationtypes.Althoughthewelded-steel-typemillchainswereintroducedmanyyearsagofortheforestproductsindustries,theirexpandedusageinavarietyofmaterialshandlinganddriveapplicationsinrecentyearsstimulatedstandardizationofthebasictypes.Thewelded-steel-typedragchains(B29.18M)weredevelopedtoprovideaseriesofsteelchainssimilartocastdragchainsintheoffsetandcombinationtypes.Weldedsteeldragchainswereoriginallyintroducedfortheforestproductsindustriesandtheirexpandedusageinrecentyearscalledforstandardizationofbasicsizes.
